Meet the Team
Dr. Haley Everett
Ever since I was a child I loved being active and playing sports. I played hockey and soccer at competitive levels and loved any type of physical activity. I knew I wanted to go into a profession that I could help people live better, happier, and healthier lives and I dreamed of working in a sport and rehab setting. I started talking to my professors and mentors while I was attending the University of New Brunswick about different career paths and one of them told me I should start shadowing different chiropractors around the city. After going to several different clinics, I was astounded at how amazing this profession is and all the different avenues of chiropractic there are. From working in a rehab and exercise setting to treating babies and pregnant women. I was shocked at the diversity of people chiropractic can benefit! I started getting regular adjustments and immediately noticed the change in my stress levels, better posture, as well as a huge improvement in my headaches that I had been getting since I was a teenager. I knew that this was the profession that I was meant to be in. I wanted to help other people the same way chiropractic helped me.
After graduating from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree in 2013 I decided to move to Port Orange, Florida to start my doctorate in chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
After 3 years and 3 months of intensive training I graduated from chiropractic school and started working in Portland, Maine. While in Portland I worked at a neurology clinic and found a passion and love for chiropractic neurology and treating traumatic brain injury, post-concussion syndrome, vertigo, dizziness, and several other neurological conditions. I am now working towards my diplomate of the American chiropractic neurology board through the Carrick Institute for graduate studies to become a board certified chiropractic neurologist. In March 2018 I decided I wanted to move back to Canada and use the knowledge I have gained to help people here in New Brunswick. I am so excited to be back in Fredericton providing chiropractic care to my friends, family, and community. I am a firm believer that chiropractic care will benefit anyone and everyone no matter your age, shape, or body type. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing sports, working out, continuing my education, and travelling.
After I graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a bio-chem degree I applied to 3 chiropractic schools. Upon receiving a scholarship to New York Chiropractic college I packed my bags and moved to Seneca Falls NY to start the most intense 3 and a half year program. I Graduated in November 2008 with my Doctorate in Chiropractic and started a practice in Portland Maine in February 2009. I owned and operated HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive rehab for 4+ years and was awarded The Chiropractic Clinic of the Month for August 2012 out of 374 clinics nationwide. We also had several Team members of the month win awards as well.
